Actuated Experi[ences/ments] vol. 1

AxLab had participated in Ars Electronica Festival 2023 (Sep 4-8, 2023), an premier annual venue for Art and Technology, took place in Linz, Austria. This year’s festival recorded 88,000 visitors, 1,542 artists and 650 exhibits. 

Prof. Ken Nakagaki directed the exhibition, titled “Actuated Experi[ences/ments] Vol. 1”, which included interactive installations (Threading Space / Xs Sculpture) based on recently published research papers, and a final project developed from  his class at UChicago, “A Practice in Art and Technology.” Together with five AxLab members, the team has exhibited their works for five full-days, as part of Campus Exhibition of the festival.
